Human Cloning
The Catholic Diocese of Kansas City ~ St. Joseph commends and supports the efforts of Missouri Cures Without Cloning Initiative. Missouri Cures Without Cloning is a broad-based, statewide coalition that seeks to amend Missouri’s Constitution to prohibit human cloning and taxpayer funding of human cloning experiments. Medical researchers may continue to conduct promising ethical stem cell research.
As a faith community, we strongly support ethical stem cell research, applaud the discovery of more than 70 cures and treatments, and pray for continued advancements that bring hope to many. For more information, interested citizens may visit www.mocureswithoutcloning.com.
